Hiboo Networks Inc. is currently searching for a talented individual to join our team as a customer-facing Project Manager.
This position will be responsible for creating Integrated project plans and schedules, be a single point of contact for our customers, creating reports, and establishing continuous improvements.
The successful candidate will have excellent people skills to communicate directly with customers and strong project management skills to keep project plans and schedules on track.
What You Will Do
1) Integrated project planning and scheduling
- Create project schedules for Network Engineering design and commissioning
- Integrate physical build schedules from Operations Project Managers to overall project plans
- Assist with the transition from sales to implementation by initiating and chairing internal Project Kick-Off meetings
- Chair regular customer delivery update meetings to ensure timelines are met and critical designs are executed on-time
- Assist with project tracking in Hubspot to ensure that Sales receives all required information and that the technology is aware of newly acquired customers
- Participate in sales forecast calls and joint sales-technology calls to ensure new and potentially complex projects are marked for early action
- Assist with the transition from implementation to operations by coordinating hand-off meetings between teams
2) Be the single point of contact for the Customer in order to:
- Collect critical dates and milestones from the customer requirements
- Coordinate Project Kick-Off meetings with customer stakeholders to identify key technical resources and additional constraints not identified during sales process
- Coordinate regular project update meetings between Hiboo internal team and customer representatives to provide regular project updates and address risks
- Develop risk register for customer visibility on risks to delivery
- Act as the customer advocate in matters related to project delivery
3) Create customer delivery project reporting templates:
- Work with the leadership team, and lead the development of project reporting dashboards to assist with visibility on customer turn-up, and revenue projection.
- Develop risk register for internal reporting on key projects
- Assist with forecasting and reporting on spend on customer projects
4) Continuous improvement:
- Identify key areas of improvement for the technology team to enhance project delivery and customer outcomes
- Identify key processes to implement/improve within and between the sales and technology teams to improve overall project timelines
- Lead the creation of various processes, templates, schedules and other collateral to be used in the delivery of future projects
Need to Have
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in project management or a related field
- A minimum of five to ten (5-10) years of project management experience in a customer facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French and other language skills are an asset)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven project management abilities
