Marketing Manager

Hiboo Networks Inc. is currently searching for a talented individual to join our team as the Marketing Manager. This position will be responsible for the overall product marketing portfolio including product roadmap, brand management, developing sales tools, and executing marketing events, all to drive the growth of a new Canadian technology brand. This role will also develop, design and implement specific targeted marketing (digital) campaigns and then use marketing analytics for continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a passion for technology marketing, engaging with customers, brand management, building a sales pipeline, content management and providing innovative solutions for growth.  

What You Will Do

  • Lead Marketing activities and resources (both internal and external) to achieve Hiboo objectives/ KPIs
  • Create and maintain product collateral including sales tools (i.e. Sales Presentations, Battle Cards, Competitive Matrixes, Pricing Guidelines)
  • Develop and execute a physical marketing plan that includes sponsorships, show and event participation, Business Association participation, and tradeshow involvement.
  • Participate in RFP responses, working closely with the sales teams as required
  • Create, strategize and oversee the execution of specific lead-generation campaigns
  • Oversee the enablement of leads for sales, by identifying opportunities to improve and ensure leads are being assigned and actioned 
  • Create digital campaigns (that Sales operations can track in Hubspot) that meet new customer acquisition goals, defining: content, target audience, value proposition, potential customer call to action
  • Analyse campaign results (from Hubspot), make adjustments in future campaigns, create reports on campaign performance (KPI metrics) for Operations Reviews
  • Participate in maintaining the marketing dashboard that will be used regularly in operations reviews
  • Establish and maintain best-practice lead nurturing and lead scoring engines 
  • Develop and maintain key vertical lists of leads to be used for outbound marketing
  • Lead and manage marketing communications including brand-related activities and inquiries

Need to Have

  • A Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Commerce, Marketing, Digital Marketing or another related discipline
  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Technology B2B Marketing in the telecommunications services industry
  • Expert in email marketing, digital marketing, and marketing automation technology, analysing results and data to optimize results 
  • Proficient using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Power BI) or similar 
  • Ability to execute quickly on product/digital marketing activities
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to translate data into actionable insights  
  • Always puts internal and external customers first
  • Executive Level presentation skills are required 
  • Exceptional time and project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • A resident of the Greater Capital Region (Ottawa)
